Our leaders want to see people rooted to live in Christ

Senior pastor Norman and pastor Gerda Clack, co-founders of Unveiled_

Norman Clack grew up non-religiously. In a time of turmoil as a young boy he cried out to God to be his Father. From that day the Lord has faithfully continued to reveal Himself to Norman in a personal relationship. After tasting ministry during a year-of-your life outreach programme, he spent some years working in corporate companies. Then he embraced his calling to ministry and enrolled as a full-time student at the Rhema Bible Training Centre, Randburg, in 1999. In his final year he met Gerda through a mutual friend. They were married in 2002 just before he started working in his first posting as a full-time pastor.

Norman Clack is known for the passionate and humorous way he exhorts and encourages people with his preaching. A visionary leader committed to seeing lost people saved, he leads the church with enthusiasm and heads up Sons of Promise, a movement encouraging men to live lives of integrity, masculinity and spirituality.

Serving alongside her husband, Gerda Clack is passionate about seeing believers grow spiritually, rooted and grounded in His love through knowing the Word. She has loved learning about the Bible from before she could read, getting to know Jesus at her mother’s knee. Now she enjoys teaching the Bible to others – from women to children to discipleship classes. Originally a graduate in Communication Studies, she applies her experience in this field to her involvement at church. She was ordained as a pastor in 2016.

Together Norman and Gerda have a desire to see lost people saved, believers growing spiritually and the church flourishing as the Body of Christ. They have been in ministry together since 2002 and joyfully embrace raising their three children. These three have grown into fully involved members of the Unveiled Team in their own right.
